Details for the June 25 Georgia Tech Meet
When: The Glen Abbey Session is Thursday, June 25; 4-7:30 p.m.
Arrival Time: 2:30 p.m. We will all walk in together at 3:10 p.m. If you are a volunteer, you will head our team seating area with the team. This year, our team will be seated upstairs in section 202; rows F, G, H, J. If you are a spectator, you will head upstairs to spectator seating. Please note: only credentialed workers and coaches will be allowed on the pool deck. Our warm-ups are from 3:40-3:55 p.m. in the girls pool lanes 0-8.
Where: Georgia Tech Campus Aquatic Center, 750 Ferst Drive, Atlanta, GA.
WHAT TO BRING: The usual (2 towels, goggles, swim cap, water), plus extra water, snacks, a meal. Electronics are allowed. Please do not bring too many things to keep up with. If possible, PLEASE LABEL items your swimmers will bring on deck. Our bullpen will be bleachers location will be available soon.
PARKING: Prepaid parking will be available in the W10 parking deck that is adjacent to the CRC. To park in this deck, you must prebuy a parking pass, you cannot pay at the gate. To prepurchase parking please visit https://gatech.parkmobile.io/events. Parking costs will be between $12-15. Overflow parking for W10 and any day of parking for those who did not prepay is located at the W02 lot at 355 Ferst Drive (this is the student center lot). These are relatively short walks from the pool. Here is a helpful map.
Spectators: Spectators are welcome but must remain in the spectator gallery. Spectators are not allowed on the pool deck, unless they have a credential as a meet volunteer or designated team official. (See below photo for seating chart.)
Order of Events: The 6 and under individual events swim after the end of the relays during each session. The order is 6&under Free Relay, All Ages Med. Relays, 6 & under Free, All Ages Free Relays, and then 6&under Back.
Pools: We will run 2 competition pools for all sessions, the scoreboard side pool will be for boys events, the center pool is for girls events. See the image below.
