    2026 Season Recap

As we wrap up our fourth and final season as Parent Reps, we simply want to say thank you. Serving the Glen Abbey Gators has been one of the greatest privileges for our families. We've had the privilege of watching swimmers grow in confidence, friendships, and sportsmanship while witnessing the incredible dedication of our coaches, committee members, volunteers, and families. Year after year, this community has shown what makes Glen Abbey so special.

As we reflect on this final season, we're grateful not only for the memories our own families have made, but also for the opportunity to serve alongside one another. What began as a volunteer role became a true partnership and friendship, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you for trusting us with your swimmers and your summers. While our time as Parent Reps has come to an end, we'll always be proud to be part of the Gators family and look forward to cheering on this team for years to come.

This season we have enjoyed serving this amazing team of 153 swimmers, along with so many incredible people. Thank you to Head Coach Victoria Gerdes for your leadership, dedication and commitment to our Gator Family. You amaze us with your calm-under-pressure leadership, and we are so grateful for all the hard work you’ve put into our team, on and off the pool deck. And special thanks to our Assistant Head Coach Jack Hinton for your energy, enthusiasm and expertise. You have always been a positive influence while building confidence, teamwork, and a love for the sport.

We also want to recognize our 8 talented assistant coaches who did an amazing job this season!

Thank you to our six returning coaches: Sydney Modglin, Sydney Hornfeck, Brock Smith, Andy Guan, Luke Gerdes and Ryan Palmer, and our two first-year coaches Kate Feierabend and Josie Neely.

We wish you all the best as you head to the Honors College at Ohio State to study biochemistry on the pre-med track.
